Welcome
It’s lovely to have you here!
The flute has been part of my life for many years – in teaching, on stage and in my encounters with fellow musicians. For me, music is a means of expression and exchange, nurtured through teaching and artistic collaboration. Here you can find news about projects, masterclasses and other activities. I invite you to explore these pages and contact me directly with any enquiries.
Interested in studying?
It is always possible to observe my class during the current semester and even to give a short performance. However, I highly recommend participating in one of my master classes if you’d like to get to know me better. I have been working as a professor of flute at the Lübeck University of Music since 1997. Teaching students at the university and others interested in music through various projects remains exciting to me even after all these years and brings me great joy. In addition to my work at the university and as a course instructor, concerts are an important part of my musical life. These include performances with various ensembles as well as solo recitals spanning different eras. My repertoire ranges from Baroque to contemporary music and includes pieces for the bass flute through the piccolo.
